The Young American actress deemed the second black woman to win Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in a "Weird time"
In an unprecedented virtual awards ceremony, Zendaya Coleman premiered Emmys award as the first young actress to win the prize and the second black actress after Viola Davis in 2015.
The Euphoria star accepted the award from home, and expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her including her family. Zandaya said: "I want to say thank you to the TV Academy, to all the other incredible women in this category." She continued:" I admire you all so much. This is pretty crazy. I don't really cry. Thank you, HBO, and A24 for all your support. Thank you to my family and my team I'm really grateful to have you all".
Zendaya officially breaks the record set for "Killing Eve" star Jodie Comer as the youngest woman to win the drama actress prize at the age 26.
Theformer Disney actress Zendaya wore a Giorgio Armani black matte skirt with pink polka dots, and black velvet bandeau top embroidered in pearls and crystals.
