The US president Donals Trump decided to ban TikTok platform from his country's app store from Sunday
The US president seems to be targeting Chinese products. He ordered to remove TikTok app alongwith the Chinese social media app WeChat. The US commerce secretary Wilbur Ross explains: " We have taken significant action to combat China's malicious collection of American citizen's personal data, while promoting our national values, democratic rules-based norms, and aggressive enforcement of US laws and regulations"
US citizens will be able to use their downloaded app until 12 November, but the experience will be lowered since there will be no updates.
the US administration believes that these platforms threaten national security and user data are passed to China that may use them for other purposes.
TikTok surprised by the BREAKING news, utters that they will continue to challenge the unjust executive order and disagree with the commerce department.
HOWEVER, If TikTok owner ByteDance and US tech agree on an arraged and well-planned partnership approved by president Trump, the ban of the app will be cancelled.
